Baylor is a long-standing participant in the Private College 529 Plan and believes the plan is a valuable option for families. Higher education costs are rising nationally at about 6 percent per year. The Plan allows parents and students to lock in their tuition costs and utilize their resources for other education needs and expenses, such as room, board and books.
Baylor welcomed the opportunity to join more than 200 other private colleges and universities across the country in 2003 to respond to a national call to make higher education more affordable and accessible through the Private College 529 Plan. We continue that commitment today.
